Remo Pinstripe Crimplock for Marching Tenors

Comments:

These are still the "go to" head for tenors. Always long durability due to the crimplock of the head.

Received the heads as ordered and within the time frame promised. After a search of the net and local stores, this was the lowest price anywhere. Thank you very much.

Great

Comments:

Great sound quality! Great with nylon articulated sticks/swizzles and great sound with felt. I highly recommend to tune the drums professionally because they pop easily if someone inexperienced tunes them too high. Drum 5 was one of the first head to pop this season then it was Drum 7 and 6 (two spock tenors). But great if you tune them right they will last you a long time if taken care of.

Great Heads.

Comments:

These are an awesome choice for a marching band. They are extremely durable, control overtones but yet have a nice attack, but don't tune them to high, they crack and break when cranked up to much. I would recommend a different head for the 6in drum.

Great service, great product

Comments:

The pinstripe head gives the right amount of attack while controlling overtones, and Steve's service is the best in the business. Order today, get it tomorrow.

wonderful for outdoor

Comments:

These are absolutely amazing for outdoor use if you tune them properly (i.e. not too high) and allow the overtones to cut through. Not so much with the 6 and 8 inch drums, though--might want to use something else for those.

alright

Comments:

We used these heads for a number of years on our high school line, they were okay but had really bad overtones and had to be tuned frequently, and broke easily. We ended up switching to something new and better this year.
