It goes without saying that the M5 is the best orchestral snare drum head available. I have tried ALL the others. While it is manufactured for 13" and 14" drums, I wish it were also made for 12" snare drums.

Exactly what I wanted. The thinnest possible coated batter head. It sounds like a coated Diplomat, just thinner, which it is! Very crisp sound - instantaneous snare response. Definitely nice for the concert snare drum I put it on. Also, it feels really good - a nice, springy rebound.

This head made my old, tired snare sound great! It is perfect for the kind of music I play, and AT LAST I found something that I can be completely satisfied with.

This is an excellent drum head. It's meant for concert style, hence the name, and has a great sound. The head is very sensitive and removes unwanted overtones. It's great for soft and loud playing, perfect for Delecluse 1. In general, this is a great drum head, I highly recommend it.

This head seems to me to be the best synthetic option when it comes to concert snare drum...I like it for the soft excerpts and am not worried about ripping through it for the loud stuff...nice price Steve.
