This family of wood blocks sounds first rate. Really nice sharp, rich "Thwack!" Excellent craftsmanship and finishing. Heirloom quality instruments to pass along to younger musicians in the family.

These woodblocks have a full, rich, hollow wood sound. They are "must haves" as percussive accents for any action-type, or oriental, film score.

Very compact size, clear sound without being too bright. Cuts through large ensembles very well. Good choice for pros or schools!

If you are serious about getting quality instruments for your own private percussion collection, these are a must have! They sound great, they are sturdy, they look beautiful, and most important, they get the job done. Be careful when playing unmounted, because the smaller the block, the greater the chance that repeated striking will cause it to start moving around, and possibly fall. Had that happen already with the "tiny" block, but that solid little thing still sounds fine!
