hercules percussion trap table stand

Hercules Percussion Trap Table Stand

The Hercules Percussion Table Stand is the perfect platform to keep small instruments and mallets at the ready. The Wavy foam and rubber edge allows for quick & quiet instrument changes. Height: 22" to 36.2" inches Weight: 10.6lbs Load...

Works fine, a little overpriced

Comments:

It's well made and sturdy, as I've come to expect from Hercules products. It doesn't seem in danger of tipping over even with some very heavy items on it. The height range seems narrow but it works pretty well. The top is literally just a basic stamped metal tray, and the padding is standard wavy foam like you get in all kinds of packaging. This seems like a product that should be half the price. Think hard about if a standard music stand and a towel wouldn't suit your needs just fine.

Hercules Percussion Trap Table Stand

A fine trap table. Probably the best one I've ever seen.

Table Stand

Comments:

I'm worried that the Hercules Table Stand connection between the table and the stand will not be strong enough to last long. The table screws onto the stand, and, while the stand is metal, the fixture it screws into beneath the table is plastic. That fixture should also have been made of some metal.

nice, sturdy stand

Comments:

I like the 1 open side with 3 other sides protected by a small rim, and the foam is very quiet when picking up and replacing instruments. Very sturdy. However, the rubber that lines the rim wasn't firmly secure when shipped. Easily fixed though. I would like a little more flexibility in its movements, i.e. the ability to slightly angle the stand would help it fit around other stands, instruments, etc.

Good yet portable stand

Comments:

Great for a gigging percussionist. It's fairly lightweight and the table comes off and the stand folds. The foam is not very durable if you're working in a school setting because it will get destroyed. If you're using this for personal use or your school kids won't pick at it, I highly recommend this stand. Not as heavy as the pearl trap table and the legs aren't double braced.

Percussion stick and accessory holder of champions

Comments:

Ever tried the black hand towel on a music stand approach for a stick stand and an accessory stand? Come early to find the stands that are up to the task. Or purchase this rock-solid stand. It holds almost as much "sticks and stuff" as two Manhasset stands and is at no risk of tilting or sliding down during rough use in instrument changes or when playing a castanet machine on it. Hint - put a piece of plywood under the castanet machine so that the foam surface does not eat any of the sound. All in all a great solution for those summer band percussionists crammed into a gazebo setting, and no risk of things going flying!

The stands are working great! My only complaint is that one stand did come with a rip in the foam. I would recommend this product.

Terrific Table!

Comments:

This is a really well constructed trap table. It has nice thick foam padding on the top and rubber around the edge. It has the Hercules quality that you're accustomed to and the price is outstanding as usual. I bought it for my high school band program and highly recommend it!

Overpriced

Comments:

Wayyyyy overpriced. Why would anyone buy this when you can put a black towel over a music stand? Works just as well.
