This stand was for a large 36x20 inch bass drum. Fully opens it places the drum at a proper playing height and is very stable. The stand is light weight so it is easy to move. The downside may be the durability over time. At the price it is a good choice.

I play in a street brass band where we travel from location to location (bar crawls, etc) and this bass drum stand is perfect! It is quick to setup and tear down and light weight, making it super portable. It's half the price of most standard bass drum stands yet just as sturdy. It's also adjustable to different size drums. It is a good bit shorter then standard stands, but at 6 feet tall, I have no trouble playing on it. 5 out 5 because it was shipped quickly and arrived quickly. The seller was also a great communicator.

I was pleased when the stand arrived - it is just what we need for our purposes. Easy to store without taking up a lot of room and easy to move around or set up. Be aware that it is short - if you are using a smallish drum, and have tall players, it might be too short. And as always, the Steve Weiss Music Co was easy to work with and the stand was sent very quickly.

I own this stand and it works well. But note that the rubber sleeves don't slide horizontally, so you can't adjust them to accomodate different widths of bass drums. Make sure your concert BD rims will sit securely on the sleeves. Good value for the money.

It fit the bill! It arrived in good shape and on time. It was easy to set up and it looks just fine with the drum sitting on top of it.

the bass drum stand I purchased for our school band is exactly what we needed. The price was right in our small budget and it works well for the young students to manipulate. I, we are very pleased with the purchase and the quick delivery!
