Great sticks that I got after my teacher recommended them, and he was right. Nice feel, well balanced.

Great Beginner - Intermediate Sticks
Comments:
The General Series for Vic Firth are the worst. Vic Firth has great sticks but I feel they picked the worst they have and made them the General. Go with the CL1 9Chris Lambs. They are a very balanced stick and sound great and both soft and loud dynamics. They are easy to control and the quality of the manufacturing is the best. ALL my beginners use these. Even my tiny students.

Very good sticks
Comments:
The lightest weight of the Lamb sticks I have purchased. There is a laminated version but this pair is lively. Very good quality.

These are my go-to now
Comments:
Well balanced. Comfortable size without being too heavy or dense. Very responsive rebounds. I like these just as much as my Cooperman concert sticks but it's a 5th of the price. These will be my go-to stick from now on.

Great sticks, recommended by Jack Van Geem
Comments:
I am SFCM percussionist, one day I asked Prof Jack what sticks should I get, he showed these sticks that he uses to me. I tried them and begin to love them. They are perfectly weighted , super balanced between it's tip and button, they are big so good for my big hands.
Great sticks.

excellent quality, good balance
Comments:
I used to not think that there was much variation in sticks...but then I tried a pair of these that my instructor brought. They are decidedly better than what I was using (usual Vic Firth).

Good tom-tom sticks?
Comments:
The pair that I received from here were ridiculously uneven. Like a third apart in pitch. I mean I guess I can use them for playing on toms, but I would never use them for what I actually purchased them for--soft snare drum playing, or snare playing in general. This could just be a SteveWeiss thing since many of the pairs of sticks/mallets I've received from here have been uneven or unmatched, but I would not recommend buying these sticks for anyone looking for decent snare sticks.

Great for Delecluse!
Comments:
I use these sticks for Delecluse etudes. The length & lightness of the stick makes playing at the soft dynamic much easier to control. Great stick for soft passages, but not so light that you can't get a big, full sound when needed.

Very good sticks, just very light. Wouldn't recommend for a big snare drum sound.

Innovative CL-1 Maple Concert Snare Drumsticks
Comments:
The weight and taper of these maple sticks make them perfect for pp to mf passages. Very well made and matched sticks.

Nice light sticks!
Comments:
These are great sticks. They're exceptionally light, so drags and flams feel great. They still feel pretty solid in the hands, though. It's tough to get immense volume out of them, but for mid-volume passages, I definitely recommend them.

Yes!
Comments:
One of my favorite pairs of snare sticks. When I got them I used them for about a year straight. They feel really good and have a nice dark sound to the drum. The weight is a little bit more toward your hands which may take a little getting used to, but they're really good, very articulate. The only thing better is the CL-2!!!!!! If you have a lot of loud passages you may want to go with something a little bit bigger/heavier (like the cl-2).
