Great stick, sometimes a bad batch

Comments:

I have ordered sticks from SW before that were great, but my most recent order had all really bad duds. It could be because I bought them in bulk, rather than just 1 or 2 pair at a time. I guess when in doubt just request for higher pitched sticks?

Dont waste your time

Comments:

I received 2 pairs, both not being weight or pitched matched. Vic Firth must be going through a economic struggle or something. They need to get back on track. Stop making so many videos and make some good sticks Vic.

My drumline used this stick, but we switched to the McNutt's, the McNutt's are better.

Corpsmaster Signature Snare Drumstick - Tom Aungst

Comments:

We were very disappointed, as we purchsed 2 pairs of sticks, and both pairs are dead.

Holy rebound

Comments:

These sticks have so much rebound. If you are looking for a stick that is easy to control this is not for you. Also, I've had about 6 pairs of these and most of them are unmatched and way too light for my taste. If you are going Vic Firth, stick to McNutts.

Not terrible.

Comments:

The pitch matching of the sticks was a little off. You can definitely hear the difference between the two sticks when playing. If you're buying in bulk, the solution is probably going to be relatively simple, however. Just mix and match until you have good pitch pairings. They might not be perfect, but that's a solution. Buying them individually is where you hit that sound quality snag. Nothing dramatically wrong. The weight pairing is good, and the weight distribution of the sticks is nice. Out of many sticks I've used, the feel of these is the nicest. Great control, great size with regards to LxW. They're very comfortable sticks that don't take long to get familiar to the hands. I suggest them. But if you can avoid buying them online, do it. You can pitch pair them yourself.

One of my favorites

Comments:

Tom Aungst sticks are my number one stick of my top three favorite sticks of all time. The weight of them really makes a great sound come out of the drum. Even though they are a bit heavy, the rebound is better than what you would think.

Amazing!!!!

Comments:

These sticks provide great sound and are wonderful for on field marching. The thick beads provide a full and vibrant sound, that turns out great in the stands.

cool

Comments:

These sticks are in my opinion very good they provide equal pitch in both sticks and are pretty easy to play with. The more you use them the more you dont want to go back to your old pair.
