Professional-quality instrument

Comments:

This tambourine has a wonderful sound that is not too bright nor too dark. its response is very clear at all dynamic levels. If you are a professional percussionist, I would suggest that you get several Grover tambourines, each with a different type of jingle so that you can match the particular sound to a specific style of music. However, if you have just one tambourine, this is the one to get. It is very expensive, but also extremely high quality, made to last for a long time.

^ Like They All Say

Comments:

Every time I play this tambourine, fellow percussionist around me ask me what model it is and tell me how much they love the sound. Strongly recommended for someone's 'first' tambourine purchase.

Great Tambourine!

Comments:

The Grover Germanic Silver/Phosphorous Bronze jingles provide an excellent sound for the tambourine. Not too bright, and not too dark. It sounds excellent! I will say this about the roll ring however. It provides itself as good training wheels for those who can't finger roll very well. But get off of those training wheels as soon as you can and get some bees wax on the head of the tambourine. The roll ring is made of straight sandpaper, and I did quite a bit of damage to my thumb when I used it.

Since the very first Grover triangles and tambourines were introduced several years ago, they continue to be the best products in their genre! I wouldn't trade mine for anything else!

Great multi-purpose tambourine

Comments:

I bought this on blind faith based on recommendations and knowing Grover makes a quality product. The blended sound of the German Silver and Phosor Bronze jingles produce an incredible sound that projects and is fits great with many different styles and pieces. I especially like the groove cut in the shell that fits great in the hand, giving you a confident grip.

Simply put: Grover's rule

Comments:

I've owned my Silver/Bronze double row tambourine now for over 5 years. This thing sounds great. I settled on the mix between the 2 because I wanted a balanced "general" sounding tambourine that wasn't too bright, and not too dark. This instrument is finely crafted to the highest standards. Even after 5 years I still have the original head that it came with! I'm always complimented on how great my tambourine sounds whenever I use it. I know I made a good choice. I also like the silver and the bronze models, but if you can't decide which one to get go with the silver/bronze for a nice blend of the 2. You won't be disappointed!
