Great Snare

Comments:

Yamaha Sfz 9300 series has consistently been great. We have been using it for a very long time and it produces great sound quality. The gravity guards really help. Just wish that the price was lower.

Great snare

Comments:

I play with this snare on my high school drumline. It is an amazing drum. So articulate and durable. i must say though the drum is a little on the heavy side but the great sound makes up for it. My favorite part is the rim shots. They stick out both in the gym and on the football field. Overall a great drum.

Amazing

Comments:

Every drum has its unique sound. I like Yamaha, Pearl, and Dynasty. But by far Yamaha has always been my drum of choice, durable, easy to take apart, quality, tonal range, and of course that amazing SFZ rimshot. Check out all the high schools, universitys, and drum corps that use these, they sound great.

The Best!

Comments:

My line has these snares and they are the best i have played on. they are great and you can put kevlar heads on them. they sound great especially out on the field. they are lighter than the pearl drums too. we can go for hours at a time with out taking it off and it wont hurt your back. these are just the best snares i have ever played and i love them.

Best I've used

Comments:

This is the drum we use in our drumline and i love everything about it, even tuning it is fun because i can get such a great sound out of it. It's high tension allows for distinct, crisp rolls and excellent rimshots. But it does seem to be a little quieter than our older drums, but than again I guess I'm not an expert but I would recommend this drum. It's definitely worth the money.
