Comments:

They could be harder. Good for practicing softly to yourself.

Very Quiet ON Musser Bells

Comments:

A pro pointed me in the direction of this website and these mallets. I wanted very quiet practice mallets to save my hearing and practice in the evening in spite of neighbors. This was exactly right. You will only use them in practice. Got the brown ones too and they are good for a small ensemble and very quiet parts. Nice feel on all. Nice quality. At first they seemed a tad long, but they were nice in all other ways, so I quickly adjusted. Unbeatable price!

They're great !

Comments:

These are perfect for practicing with my bells. I'd use them even if I wasn't concerned about apartment living; A lovely soft hushed tone that protects my hearing.

Nice Mallets

Comments:

These are very nice mallets! The handles are unpolished, allowing me to grip them more securely and the weight is perfect. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is that the handles are slightly longer than all of my other mallets. I also bought the hard black; excellent contrast and both pairs make a great collection of rubber mallets. I would definitely recommend them!

Good for testing if you like rubber mallets.

Comments:

Easy choice for starter mallets if you're interested in rubber mallets. Very happy with them, for the price. Definitely not what you'd want for a performance, but a good, quiet rubber mallet for practice. Very light weight, with good dimensions for the shaft. Very useful during practice sessions with multiple musicians in one room, as they are loud enough for you to hear youself, but not loud enough to disturb nearby musicians.
