Worth every penny and doesn't cost a lot of them. Sturdier than stands that cost twice as much.

Other than having to reverse placement of some pieces because they looked the same from either orientation, and through trial and error discovering certain sections needed to be connected first, the stand went together easily and is sturdy. Adjustable for gongs of different sizes.
The gong stand it a perfect size and put together easily. It is nice that it is adjustable in its depth so several different sizes can be used.
This is a very nice stand, especially for the price! The guage of steel was heavier than I expected it to be. I did a couple modifications to make it double secure, but it would most likely be fine for most buyers straight out of the box. It assembles easily and is compact to transport once broken down. I would gladly purchase another stand for use with a smaller Gong.
I felt the need to write this review as I am a person who takes reviews I read quite seriously. I bought this gong stand on Amazon not knowing it was the exact stand Steve Weiss is selling. The one review I read here turned me off. Well, I received this exact stand today, set it up in about 3 minutes and it's fantastic. I'm a musical theater percussionist and it fits my needs perfectly. Lightweight, solid, easy to set up and tear down. Absolutely no issues. I wouldn't recommend it for the high school marching band as it's not built for that type of wear and tear but for $70 it's a no brainier for my 26" gong and my needs.
Badly engineered so that the pieces don't all fit squarely. Leans quite a bit to one side. Can not be straightened. My 24" is in danger of hitting the side. Have to prop up with a book.
