I've been using these marching sticks for four years. They are the best sticks out there and trust me, I've tried them all.

This stick is one of my favorites. I was skeptical at first because of the oddly shaped head, but once I tried them, it was great. My highschool is using them for a second consecutive marching season and we couldn't be happier!

I have always used Innovative sticks. Going through each brand, then each model of IP sticks. I kept finding myself drawing back to these. The balance from front to back is great, the sound they produce is fantastic.

Purchased two pairs for my son for a drum corps audition. Purchased these because was told it is what this specific corps used. Son, who is a snare drummer, said they were too light and felt hollow. They created an abnormally low pitch on the drum and didn't create a warm or full sound.

Great sticks, inconsistent quality.

I love these sticks, especially in the new white hickory, but the pair I ordered were slightly warped upon arrival. This isn't the first time I've received sticks of this quality either. I definitely recommend the sticks, but purchase from a store where you can pick the sticks up and check them first if possible.

i just got a pair the shipping was great but the sticks was a little bit light because i was looking for more of a heavy feel but they have the Vic Firth Mike Jackson feel but over all they are good for speed and the rebound is nice but if you are planning to get these i would at least tape them down twice if you want a heavy feel

best overall sticks

the best sticks you could get! A little heavier then the normal white hickory stick but plays great to the head and a great practice stick to build your chops!!

I personaly have always thought playing snare was "overraided", i have always been a bass drum guy. But i picked up these sticks after our drum tech gave a pair to a friend of mine, and to be honest they are the best sticks i've played on. Definatly deserves a 5, you get the best feel and control. The long tapper and oval bead make the perfect combination! I have definatly been recomending these sticks to everyone within my winter percussion assamble. Great sticks!

Decent balance. My go to stick is Kuhn's, so these feel front weighted to me, but unwieldy. The neck has an interesting collar that looks great, but I really don't understand the purpose. The only problem with these sticks is the wood. Like all IP's heartwood sticks, these are poorly matched and slightly different in balance. At some point, IP is going to realize heartwood is awful.

the sticks were what i expected, but the fact that i was able to get them before my competition is something i will remember, and i certainly wont be shopping anywhere else for percussion supplies...

These sticks feel so good when you tape them up all the way. They have a perfect balance and are light, but not too light as to produce a thin, ugly sound on the snare head. The taper, especially when you get up to the bead of the stick, is made very well and works with the stick's look and feel beautifully. I believe that anyone experiencing problems with these sticks must have received flukes, because mine are great and I would recommend to anyone.

We used these for marching band last season and I am not much of a fan. They feel really back-weighted and most of the pairs I've played felt light. On the plus side, it's Innovative Percussion, so they're matched well and they last about as long as you could expect. However, I found that these sticks produce a very thin sound on kevlar when compared to other sticks. In my opinion, there are a variety of better choices.

Poor Stick Quality

The sticks I received were lacking in quality. The weight of the sticks was inconsistant to each stick, which resulted in poor hand to hand sound. The quality of the sticks I received were not what I expected. I've never had a problem before hand though, so I'm gonna set that one up as a fluke.

I love these sticks. I use them for snare in my school's marching band. They have great control and a nice feel to them.

I am a big fan of Jim Casella and his signature sticks and mallets are great. These have a very nice feel to them and are perfect diameter and length with a great unique tip.
