My daughter needed the items for school, and when I placed the order I thought it was going to take at least a week.

The products were excellent! The shipping although, had some confusion along the way. Somehow my products were transferred to a Fedex package, Who left my products with strangers. I eventually found them after some research and door knocking.

This is a pretty good beginner pack, but the mallets are not all made to last. The marimba mallets I got with these frayed in about 6 months of light usage. The xylophone mallets and the timpani mallets are pretty good however. The snare drum sticks are good as well. I recommend starting out with this for about a year then going into more advanced items as necessary as these will not last terribly long.

My daughter loves the stick bag, and all of the sticks fit very nicely in the various pockets. I would like a little more description of each mallet for those of us who are purchasing these but don't have firsthand (band member) knowledge of what the model numbers mean.

Item arrived quickly. This purchase was suggested by my son's music teacher. Looks like a quality set that I think he'll be using beyond his middle school band years. The zippered case that comes with the set is well-made and also looks like a quality product.
