For me it's the perfect size. The next one up is too large for my needs. I do wish this would have a second strap as it would be easier to carry like a backpack. I do appreciate the ability to unclip the strap when not needed. I do recommend this product.

If you are touring and go through drum sticks this is the bag for you. I got to the point where i was carrying multiple stick bags or just putting loose sticks in my drum cases. This bag is so spacious I would recommend it to any touring drummer.

Our handbell ensemble just bought this bag for out mallets and it's been a great addition to our arsenal. The size is great and it is well made. We're excited to use it when we travel. Great purchase!

Easily parked upright beside my timpani for easy selection of mallets during a set.

Great bag. Wish it had built in backpack straps

The bag itself is perfect for traveling. It carries absolutely everything which allows me to not also bring a backpack when traveling. It fits in the overhead compartment of a plane easily. The strap is cheap though. The length adjuster doesn't stay in place and the clasps could not handle the weight of my bag and broke. This bag gets heavy when stuffed, and I wish it had built in heavy-duty backpack straps like the larger version of this bag - then it would be perfect.

This mallet bag is a game changer for me. The Liberty One Mallet King tour bag makes it much easier to find what I need and be ready to play during rehearsals. I previously had a briefcase, which meant limited space and more time spent digging around for what I needed. This bag has plenty of room for all of my mallets and accessories, while keeping everything handy and accessible.

I had some large mallet bags that I set on the floor under my mallet instruments and they kept flopping on the floor when I moved anything so I gave them to students and put my mallets in Vic Firth stick cases. That only was a partial solution since I had to hunt through the horizontal pile of mallets to get a set of mallets. I bought both sizes of Mallet King bags and am very happy with them. I didn't think I would fill them up but I had an awfully lot of mallets. I love that they stand upright, divide the mallets so you can find them, and you can put your chosen mallets in the pockets on the top flap. I have not used all of the pockets and strap features but it looks well made and well worth the investment. The tour bag version is smaller and only has a shoulder strap but there are metal carrying rings at all four corners so you could convert it to a backpack style by adding another strap if you want to do that.

This bag holds plenty of mallets, stands upright and appears to be made well. It definitely has helped me organize my vibe mallets. An easy purchase from Steve Weiss.

This thing is bigger than it looks. Way more space than I thought or need. Very well made too.

Bag is perfect. Although it wasn't the Liberty One bag I had thought I had purchased, it still works perfectly for what I need it for. There is plenty of space for pretty much all of your mallets and sticks; I keep like 30 pairs of mallets and sticks in there and there's still a bit of room. The one reason I give this a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the strap to carry it by. I had thought I ordered the one with backpack straps, but this one has as single, diagonal strap. It makes it awkward to carry, because of its size. But once you get used to carrying it by the top handle, you will have no problem.

Sturdy bag and just the right size

Very nice bag for everyday use. Solid build quality and durable too. Holds tons of sticks, and also fits a tambourine.

Working and student percussionists tend to have hundreds of mallets and bring a large assortment of them to rehearsals and concerts. I love how this bag can carry more than I need. I also love how the bag is free standing, so I can put it on the floor, or raise it up on a case or table. Everything is within easy reach. When you open the bag, the top folds down and has 3 pockets that work well for your most used mallets to be right in front. I've tried other bags that cost more, hold less, and just don't do the job. Do yourself a favor and get this bag. You'll love it!
