This thing is extremely well thought out and put together. You can adjust to a vast range of heights, and the mechanism for holding up the front of the drums is really smart in the way you can raise it with only one hand to the angle you want the drums. You can't really tell that from the pictures, but that is one of my favorite aspects of this stand. Totally blows away the Randall May stands.

Pearl just kills it with their products! This stand is literally perfect! They're very easy to set up and use, the support bar underneath that goes underneath the drums is easily adjustable and really helps prevent movement of the drums. You can be as aggressive as you want with the drums and they will stay completely still, just try not to break any drum heads ;) Definitely buy this stand if your tenors use J-rods to attach themselves to the carriers because it will not dissapoint!

Just another reason why Pearl is the best reason to play drums. These stands are an absolute blessing for quad players. It's very simple to set up whether you are using it on flat ground, bumpy ground, or in bleachers. Putting on the drums is very easy and simple as well, using the J-rod system which is old-fashioned but very reliable, keeping the drums sturdy so they don't move around while playing. Very happy with this over the Yamaha stands which are plain annoying and don't serve their purpose. Let's go Pearl!

I was concerned about trying to find a stand that would work with an older set of quint tenors. This one fit the bill! It has two prongs that are on the backside of the drums where the harness would go. I was skepical about how far the bracket would open to accommodate the prongs. This stand works perfectly and can be adjusted for stand use in pep band bleachers! Exactly what we needed!!

This is the best tenor stand on the market. It is compatible with most makes of tenor drums (I use it with Yamaha, might not work with Dynasty). The stand is very easy to use and has no counter-intuitive adjustments like the Yamaha/Stadium stands have. Get this stand and avoid the Yamaha one, it is just annoying. I also think this is the most affordable stand available as well.
Heavy-duty, well made stand at a nice price. Holds the Pearl Championship Series Quint marching tenors in place solidly, with absolutely no movement of the drums. My son is practicing better and longer now that he doesn't have to "wear" the marching carrier/drums.
