FEEL and REBOUND for days

My students turned me on to these sticks because they are fans of Blue Knights, and Ausdemore is writing their music. I've never tried them until rehearsal yesterday, and I think they are the best feeling marching sticks I've ever felt. They just seem to fly back off the head, but they aren't light. They have a huge sound but it doesn't take force or downstrokes to get it.
I've always loved the Ralph Hardimons (still do) but these feel even better imo.
Just ordered a full season's worth for this fall, and I'm about to check out the indoor version later this week.

I'm not that familiar with Promark, but a student of mine came into rehearsal with a pair of the Ausdemore outdoor pair. We re in love.

Promark has done a good job over the years & I'm a fan of the Jeff Ausdemore DC8. It is a heavier (Weight) stick, there's nothing wrong with that, I find heavier sticks easier to play. Good feel & balance. Durability & sound are other benefits this stick offers. The students in drumline picked the Promark DC8 over other various options.

So I've been a Vic Firth guy most of HS, but now that I'm auditioning for corps, I decided to try these. OMG- they are the best feeling stix I've ever played with. The outdoors are a little heavier than I'm used to, but I'm good with them now. The sound at the low end is awesome. I have some younger students using the indoors, cuz they are perfect for the smaller hands.
Stocky but heavy.

I rate this product a four only because I feel like it's more of a personal taste thing. If I am rating them based on whether they work or not, then straight five, by all means. If I'm rating them on how they feel in my hands, then again, straight five (they feel very quick when I play, and they are moderatly heavy. Helpful for taps and beefy sound. The short taper provides some front weight - I like their stocky but beefy feel). But I can never use just one stick - I frequently switch between these and Vic Firth Mike Jacksons, or Lee Beddises. Sometimes even McNutts; it depends on my preference at the time, and what I am playing. But in general, I would reccomend this stick. They are a vlauable addition to anyone's (marching) stick bag.

I had purchased these sticks along with the indoor version. I was very pleased with the quality of the indoor product, but was not nearly as pleased with these ones. The sticks I had received were horribly mismatched in both pitch and weight. I would not even use them to keep time with HA! Though I was disappointed with the sticks, SteveWeissMusic was very professional getting me in contact with a rep from ProMark who has been very helpful in helping me resolve this issue. I am still excited to try these sticks out once I have been given a pair that is to par with its standards.

I really like the system blue sticks, but the Ausdemore stix are incredible. I think it's the most rebounding stick on the market, and it gets a really nice focused sound out of the snare drum. My drumline loves them. We use the outdoors for marching band, and we're about to use the indoors for our winter drumline. Great job ProMark!

Very soft on the hands, pretty much no tension on the wrists
very quick rebound and a bright sound
Pro-Mark's best marching stick

These are the stick that I have been waiting for Pro-Mark to come out with for a while. They are very beefy and provide a full sound, but they aren't heavy and they don't fatigue the hands. The only issue that I've run into is that the large diameter is a bit much for younger students, but the Ausdemore indoor stick provides a similar feel is a smaller size and is perfect for those situations. Skip the System Blue products and pick up a pair of these instead.
