This is one very handy attachment! It allows me to mount my LP tamborim securely to my percussion rack, thus freeing up my holding hand to play a shaker, congas, bell, or other instrument. I can also quickly remove it from the rack for the more traditional Brazilian tamborim techniques.
SW music did it again! Sure, it's just a buffalo drum mount and pretty basic but SW music had the best price and fastest delivery on a hard to find product that helped me keep customizing my kit. You guys rock!
The products are working well for me, i.e. as designed. Let's be honest, at this price point it would be too costly to also have them 'clamp' to the drum frame. I have Remo drums. I used a couple thicknesses of heavy tape to slightly increase the wall thickness of the frames. It made areally snug fit. They work great.
Worked with a tambourine as well as a frame drum.
I was afraid these were going to be flimsy. They are not. Good product.
Inexpensive holder for my frame drum. I use Remo and Cooperman drums. I still need to pad the holder so that the drum will fit securely. Other than that , the device works.

I tried 'Musician's friend in NYC, and had no luck.I have a gig coming up next week that I needed a timbal/hand clap sound for. I came up with tuning my frame drum tamborim to a certain pitch and wha-la. A new sound that I can mount on my everything stand because of this holder. Should fit Remo drums fine, but be careful with anything else. Many drums will not fit securely and it is not adjustable. Measure the thickness of your drum shells before ordering this!
