I really like the clear tones of the chimes and the ability to mute with the bar. The carrying case is an added bonus.

I've owned my Tre630 for 7 years, and the price has only gone up $10. The bars sound great, the damper is, in my opinion, an absolute must have, and the case is useful. Speaking of the damper, if you're used to a Spectrasound damper that doesn't respond well to tightening, this damper is nothing like that. It's very easy to tighten, and doing so allows you to position the damper in a way that modifies sustain. Leaving it far off the bars makes it as if the damper isn't there, letting the bars sustain freely. Positioning the dampener just millimeters behind the bars makes the instrument behave like a good studio crash cymbal, vibrating freely for just long enough to speak in full voice before ducking below the ensemble as the bars are quieted. Putting the dampener right against the bars means only the initial articulation comes through with no sustain. Very useful. There's not much else to say. If you are in the market for one mark tree, you can't go wrong here.

TreeWorks is one of those companies that does one thing only, but they do it exceptionally well. Any set of their chimes sounds better than anyone else's, and this is the best deal you're going to find to get this level of quality and the accessories that come with it. The case is sturdy and holds the chimes securely. The damper allows the chimes to ring out, but quiets them quickly so you don't have to use your forearm. The chimes themselves sound spectacular. Can't go wrong. Do note that unless you don't mind occupying a cymbal stand, you'll need the Tre52 bracket.

I am so content with this instrument!! I am playing percussion in Jane Eyre the musical right now and it is the perfect fit! Not too small and not too big. Very versatile and just wonderful sounds.

This is a very nice set that includes almost everything you will need. These wind chimes have a lovely ethereal quality - Just what the composer had in mind when specifying wind chimes. You will probably also need a mounting clamp if you buy this set. Nice case, nice damper. Excellent sound.

This is a fine piece, the chimes are very pure and resonant, the piece is very wet built, the damper is helpful. Highly recommended.

When I was younger and in school, the only wind chimes anyone ever had were the LP chimes with the gold bars. I guess I never thought about "better" wind chimes. I received my TreeWorks chimes a few days before I needed them for a performance. In the rehearsals, I was using a Mark Tree in their place and the difference was amazing! After setting up my TreeWorks chimes, I thought that my setup looked pretty amazing and the sound that I was able to get out of them was incredible. The damper was great for pre and post performance so nothing clanged while people were moving around in the pit and the case was well worth the added cost. The case is specifically designed to hold the wind chimes in place with Velcro straps and I cannot imagine how I would transport them without the case. If you're going to spend money on wind chimes, definitely buy the TreeWorks with the damper and case; you will be disappointed with anything else.

Great product! The attached damper is a plus!! It's a good buy if you need a longer windchime... Not to mention the hard case that comes with it! Just used this for a musical - you won't regret it

These are the best chimes I have ever used. They really work in any situation especially with the dampening bar. The case is well-made and none of the chimes have fallen off like with other models that don't have well-made chime ties.

This is a top of the line instrument and equipment. Damper bar works very well, the case is perfect, and the chimes sound great!
