Vic Firth matches pitches? I think not

The weight of the sticks are what I was looking for. A heavier pair to chop out on during pad practice. However, the mismatched pitching of the sticks leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately it seems Vic Firth has only gotten worse when it comes to pitch matching pairs of sticks.

If you are looking for sticks to build chops, these are for you. They are also forward balanced, making them great for rolls and developing control for Marching Percussionists starting out in the activity.

Great sticks

These sticks are heavy and shorter than most marching sticks so the bounce is amazing! They are thick and laminated so don't worry about gocking!! I highly recommend these sticks for any marching snare player!!

Great sticks.

They are my absolute favorite snare sticks. Also very heavy, it gives your arms a good work out. I highly recommend these to use for you snare line.

These sticks are probably the most durable sticks on the market. It takes a lot of heavy use to break them, however, they are a heavy side of things. I have used these sticks on tenors and absolutely love the way they feel in my hands. I would have to say they are second to the Scott Johnson Tenor Stick on my list, but the MS4's do produce just as good of a sound. The MS4 sticks sound really great on snare drum, too.

Good
