Very nice sound isolation, sturdy build, firm fit, these will last a very long time so I don't mind the price point. The only downside is that adjustment is quite stiff, and they tend to pull up a bit on your head. Still recommended though because of everything else.
I use these mostly to listen to tracks and play along. I can keep the music at a very moderate level and bang away as hard as I please without any issues. Great stuff.

I like drumming along to music but was beginning to have ringing in my ears cause I played so loud. With these headphones I can plug them in to listen to the music on my phone that I want to play along to and block out most of the loudness if drum and yet still be able to softly and safely hear what I play.

I bought these headphones for recording drum tracks in a small home studio. They sound great, and let me hear the click track and scratch track I'm accompanying without cracking the volume. They are comfortable and also seal on my ears well so the sound doesn't bleed out and get recorded by the room condenser mic. They were exactly what I wanted.

These headphones are amazing. They really lower external sound making it much easier to hear the mix coming through the headphones. They are very comfortable too.

I've been recommending these headphones to all my musician friends ever since I got them. Sound quality is fantastic, and the noise isolation is amazing. Perfect for practicing or just listening to music.

I love these headphones! Some reviewers may state the sound is not great but i didn't get these headphones to listen to vinyl records! I bought these to use in the studio while recording drums. The sound is great, i don't have to crank the volume up and there is enough isolation to still hear my drums. Playing, recording and practicing are very comfortable with these. And the price is right! I just didn't want to shell out over $200 for headphones. These do the job!

The Vic Firth SIH1 Stereo Isolation Headphones are a decent pair of headphones for the money. They provide a reasonable amount of hearing protection without muffling all the sound of the drums. The sound drivers work well with a metronome. I used a Tama Rhythm Watch and Dr. Beat DB-90 and each metronome was easily heard without needing to turn up the volume very far. I have two complaints about the SIH1. First, the coiled cord is too short and not the most comfortable to work around. Second, and most importantly, the size of the openings of the ear cushions is too small. After a short period of time they become uncomfortable for me to wear because the ear cushion cups are not big enough. I'm an adult and while I don't have huge ears they aren't exactly small either. If you have medium to large ears these headphones may not be for you. For students (or anyone with smaller ears) this is an invaluable investment in hearing protection.

they sound awful and are cheaply made, been through two sets at my studio, will not be buying them again.
