These mallets are heavy as all get out. Great for a loud, thick, but articulate sound. Be careful with your technique however. The extra weight can do a number on your wrists.
These sticks are amazingly helpful.. but the nylon keeps chipping, and is starting to come off.

Wonderful tenor mallets. Great, clear, staccato. Comfortable, fast, and essential for fast 16th note runs. However, when you first get them, the grips might slide off, but its easy to fix it with electrical tape. also, my first pair broke after about 2 and a half months, but that's because my show this year has lots of rim clicks and rim shots. They would have ordinarily lasted much longer.
This is a strong versatile and light weight stick that gives back good rebound and effective sound quality. It's perfect for a marcatto type style of technique. The only issue is that if you're not a strong zone playing tenor you may "ding" up your drum a bit; that along with your hands. Also, you need to use the right technique.
