It's perfect! Thank you.
It's perfect! Thank you.
Great for standing or sitting with travel conga head!
This stand was a repeat purchase for my daughter who needed two stands! It's been a rock solid stand for her.
I use this concert snare stand for Tenor pads, the Beetle BAP pad & Beetle line pads. Also different percussion items from Brake drums, Ocean drums, various toms & snare drums. Don't just get 1, especially all you middle school/ high school band directors. Which none of you will read this. - Mr.M
I use this concert height snare stand with my private students for marching band application. It helps them with marking time. The snare basket can hold any of the Xymox, Off World, ProLogix, or HQ real feel snare & tenor pads students bring to practice on. As well as it can hold the standard 13" & 14" snare drums of various depths.
This snare stand is everything I thought it would be. The very sturdy legs and feet make sure the drum does not move while playing and can allow you to play in a range of locations. The basket system with tightening wheel are also top notch. The screw nob allows you to fit in any size of drum from 14" marching snare to 12" practice pad. The rubber at the ends of the arms provide a sure hold to any playing surface you might place in the basket. The overall height ability is extensive. The 745 works for marching snares, concert drums and practice with equal ease. The shipping service I received from Steve Weiss was also timely and accurate. Yamaha has made a wonderful product that I'd recommend to anyone and I will be referrencing friends and students to Steve Weiss in the future.
Very sturdy and stable snare stand that is actually being used as a tenor practice pad stand. Easily gets the practice pad at the correct playing height. High quality sturdy stand.
The snare drum stand is excellent. It is a heavy stand, but is very sturdy, and the height adjustment is just what I was looking for. I am tall, and need a snare drum stand that is high enough for me to play at a comfortable level. However, I ordered a solo piece of music, and it was put in the box with the snare drum stand. The solo was bent in the box. It should not have been packed like that.
I'm tall, and I LOVE the Pearl S1000LS, but many of my students cannot use that stand, even on its lowest setting, because it is just way too tall. It's also very bulky, and heavy, and long, even when collapsed. Enter the Yamaha Concert Snare Stand. It's tall for me, it's short for them, it's simple, it's lightweight, it's VERY portable and collapses to almost nothing. I have three, and I use them ALL THE TIME. Without doubt the best value, most portable, versatile SD/TomTom/Small Table/Drum Pad stand I've ever seen.
