Description

DeMorrow Orchestra Bells feature a special steel that is extremely hard, very resonant and very clear in pitch.

DeMorrow Orchestra bells come in a beautiful white oak case with tall bar rails that are sealed to the bottom of the case to create a resonant cavity. The cavity helps focus pitch which gives the instrument the capability to be played extremely loud.

The steel bars sit on a unique cord which allows open ring time & provides a playing feel as if they're suspended. The lid locks down to the case with solid brass latches. When the lid is locked, the bars are held in place. The edge of the case features rubber feet so it can be stood on its edge.

When ordering, please specify if you would like the bells tuned to 440 or 442.

I have played several sets of Deagan Parsifals, plus all the leading professional bells from every company on the market over the past 20 years. After playing the DeMorrow bells, there was no question the sound, the quality of the case and carbon steel, the precision of tuning and the amazing volume and ring time are simply heads above anything out there. My advice is don't spend thousands on anything else or reconditioned Leedy or Deagans. I assure you, you will find nothing that compares to this instrument and the extended F-D range is perfect for the professional orchestral percussionist.
