O'Meara-Island Spinning (SP)-V/3M

Island Spinning by Rich O'Meara is dedicated to Carlos Garza - composer, keyboardist, and long time friend of O'Meara's. This piece is inspired by a silent film score the two of them worked on together. Island Spinning is scored for five players on three marimbas (including one 5-octave) and vibraphone. The marimba 1 and 4 parts may be played on the same (5-octave) marimba.
