Mark Watters' engaging work Dual Excursions for flute and marimba is equally challenging and enjoyable for both performers. This highly rhythmic one movement work explores various moods ranging from minimalist, to expressive legato to driving odd meter rhythms. Requires four mallets and is approximately eight minutes in duration.
