What a sweet, lovely, and completely expressive instrument. Yet gritty, and earthy too! Just spend time with it, and your understanding of it will blossom. Portable and well made.

Lower in pitch and fuller in sound. The Alto Kalimba has 2 vibrato holes, and 15 notes that span 2 octaves. An ideal partner for the Treble Kalimba.

This is instrument has a great sound but a few problems. Unfortunately, I have only had it a few weeks and there are cracks in the top under some of the tongues. It also is uneven so if you try to put it on a flat surface it wobbles a little which can be annoying. All of these things aside it does have a great tone.

This is the best kalimba I have ever played. It's not even possible to make any unpleasant sounds with it. This is also the cheapest price I found for a Hugh Tracey kalimba. Several other websites I checked had this particular kalimba for sale at varying prices over $119.99. Buy this kalimba, you won't regret it.
