I've had this xylophone for a little less than a year, but the screws in the brackets that hold the bar supports started falling out after less than 6 months (when I tried to screw them back in I discovered that they were stripped). Also, it has these stupid tension plates at each of the tightening screws on the legs and crossbar which are easily lost, and the frame doesn't seem to fit together properly anymore. I have an earlier model of Adams marimba with voyager frame and it is fabulous - takes very heavy usage of breaking down & setting up and is very sturdy, have no idea why my xylophone is so terrible. Also two of the notes are out of tune. On the positive side it projects well and has fairly even tone through all octaves.
