Spectrum by Daniel Berg is a 6 minute long ostinato-based work for 5 octave marimba of which the composer says, "If you light this work for marimba through a prism you will get a spectrum of different sources of inspiration-rhythms from the Japanese marimba virtuoso Keiko Abe and harmony from the musical genius Quincy Jones".
