The Big Fat Snare Drum Original Drum Dampener eliminates the need for tape, gels, wallets or whatever else percussionists have used dampen drums. Constructed from a custom blend of rubber and plastics the dampener lowers the overall fundamental of the drum. The resulting sound is a vintage, beefy, thumpy, 70's inspired tone while still delivering the projecting and cut of a medium to high pitched drum.

Big Fat Snare drum had convenience in mind when designing the Dampener. A thumb cut out is worked into the design so the performer can quickly and effortlessly remove or reapply the Dampener. Created by Drummers for drummers.
