Great addition to your snare drum. Nice weight, stays put on the drum head. Gives just enough dampening to the snare to take out the unwanted overtones in my opinion. I use it in a community band that plays in nursing facilities and retirement residences. Sometimes the ring from the snare is too much in these places. This drum dampener solves that problem. Plus I always like to purchase anniversary products from companies that I use.
