This is a very valuable marimba method. It is clear and concise in presenting each type of stroke. The videos available through the QR codes are most helpful in demonstrating the main techniques involved in 4 mallet marimba playing. Best of all are the fantastic pieces composed by so many talented musicians that are included within. They illustrate very marimbaesque styles, diverse and captivating. I think the book is great and Dr. Boseman should be very pleased that his teaching work here will be of such benefit to marimbists!
