Ney Rosauro's Cadencia Para Berimbau for percussion quartet presents an excellent opportunity to showcase the exotic berimbau as an ensemble and solo instrument. Other instruments used include marimba, surdo (bass drum) and congas. This was Ney Rosauro's first percussion composition.
