The Demorrow M5 5 Octave Concert Rosewood Marimba graded Honduras rosewood bars delivering a rich resonant tone. Each bar is meticulously tuned. The height adjustable metal frame features solid oak headplates and bar rails that have been stained, sprayed and buffed.

I have played hundreds of marimbas from virtually every available company over the past 20 years. The sound, power, projection and evenness from bar to bar of this marimba is simply unmatched. The frame, like all DeMorrow's is welded steel and solid hardwood, in my case, I paid extra for Jatoba wood. The build quality from the frame to the resonators, and even the casters sets the reference standard for any artist-level marimba. I could have spent a lot more from other companies, but when I compared all these specifics and my requirements to warrant this as my final marimba purchase, The M5 DeMorrow was a clear choice.

The best marimba to play.

I recently received my Demorrow 5.0 Concert Marimba and it is an amazing instrument. The low register is especially resonant. Workmanship is unparalleled. Worth the price
