Description

The Demorrow SEP 5 Octave Rosewood Marimba features select bars tuned to deliver a musical fundamental and warm resonance. The bars are mounted using Demorrows soft cotton cord and a powder coated steel frame with solid oak end pieces and bar rails. The black brass resonators are fully tunable and project the sound and sustain of the bars. SEP (Sound Enhanced Practice) Marimbas are ideal for the student taking their percussion playing to next level.

Considering the fantastic price, grabbing a rosewood 5 oct. with this level of quality is a rare find. Our percussion studio owns a 4.3 oct. M3 (SEP) and it is as good or better than any other marimba in our inventory. Fully tunable resonators is a must have. The frame is steel and oak, easy height adjustment and SUPER sturdy. Do not be fooled by the price. This is an excellent concert instrument for any serious percussionist, professional included.
