Dragonfly Percussion's Celeste Mallet is a 1" black phenolic ball with a small brass insert covered in a thin layer of firm rubber. This makes for a super warm sound with far less "tick' than brass or plastic mallets, still provides acute projection and clarity in an orchestral situation. Great for turning your glock into a celeste. Awesome for La Mer, Forest Murmurs, and lots of other soft, atmospheric excerpts.
