Dragonfly Percussion Medium Suspended Cymbal Mallet - Rattan

The Dragonfly Percussion medium suspended cymbal mallets are designed for single notes at all dynamics, although it is also excellent for rolls. They have heavy rubber-covered plastic cores on rattan handles.

Because of its weight, these sticks gets the whole spectrum of overtones ringing with very little effort and velocity. The tight cloth wrap gives it excellent projection and articulation without sounding harsh in any way. These characteristics allow for dynamically appropriate notes that are still audible (think Mahler 4 and La Mer).
