Ditto everything the other reviewers have said. This key feels good in the hand due to its weight, surface texture and shape. The spin knob on top is great for speeding up the installation and removal of tension rods. The magnet really does help keep it from rattling if you like to leave it within easy reach on a tension rod while you play. Some simple things in life make quality of living better and are worth a few extra bucks: good trash bags, good toilet paper, and good drum keys.

This is small work of art. Solid, nice weight, ergonomic. Much thought went into the design and I appreciate the result. I almost can't wait for my drums to drop out tune just so I have reason to reach for this. I wish other manufactures would put as much effort into the little things that are so often dismissed. Nice job Evans!

Great drum key! Solid, hefty. Feels great in the hand and I really like the added magnet. No more lug nuts rolling around on the floor. Only thing I would add would be a small hole to run a cord through and secure it. I have a feeling these may "wander away" if I don't keep an eye on them!
