Grover Bronze Pro Hammered Triangle - Product Information

Grover Pro’s new Bronze-Pro Hammered model triangles represent the collective experience of over 30 years of hand-crafting the world’s finest triangles.

Bronze-Pro Hammered triangles are made from unique ½″ diameter special high-grade bronze alloy. Prior to hand bending, the solid alloy rod is hammered in a compact randomized pattern. This process insures that the inherent fundamental pitch is dampened and that the instrument’s intricate and complex harmonic structure is enhanced. After fabrication, each triangle is hand tested and precision engraved with the Grover logo and a unique serial number.

This series is available in 6″, 7″, or 8″ models and is ideal for professionals who demand an instrument that is capable of full expression and ultimate musicality.

Excellent triangle

This is a really beautiful triangle, with lots of overtones the create a nice shimmer and help it blend in ensemble settings. I like it better than thinner hammered triangles, which can sound dull and don't perform well at volumes over mf. This Grover has a full sound at all dynamic ranges. If you are considering purchasing a professional hammered triangle, this is the model to get, unless you want to go for the $600 German variety. The 7, and 8 inch models are also very good. The 6" and 7" are the most versatile. The 8" is ideal for loud passages. (Mahler, Wagner) Similar to cymbals, the more I play it, the better it gets. Get a good clip with very thin line, if you use a cheap one it will mute the real beauty of this instrument.

Overtones allow this triangle to blend well with an ensemble. The tone is consistent at different dynamics no matter what size beater.

The Grover Bronze Pro Hammered Triangles are fantastic instruments! They have great sustain and tone. They sound wonderful for single notes or articulate passages. I have the 6" and 8" and I love them both.
