Great case at a great price!!
Description
This custom made Enduro Case is a cut-down version of the Humes & Berg DR424BKSP Square Case with foam. We have the case cut-down to accommodate 6.5″ snare drums (Humes & Berg doesn’t make this size typically).
This is a great case for any 6.5″ drum with an extended throw-off. The granite color helps protect your drums from the heat typically associated with black cases.

A rather unattractive and limited functional /protective case, especially if you have a snare drum or any drum that has "Lobes" or protrudes out on opposite sides such as a Ludwig Super Sensitive Snare Drum. This is not the case for that particular snare drum (such as I have), which is the reason not to buy this particular case. It works out terribly! I do not recommend it as it is a low quality case. GYHOOYA.
Not just for 6 and 1/2, this case fits an 8 by 14

Just in case you have an 8 by 14 snare drum and wondered if anyone made a hard case to fit, your worries are over. We had a spare drum shell and way too much time on our hands so we made an imitation Hinger Space Tone snare drum and decided to make it a multi-sonic model with wire snares, Hinger snares, and guitar string snares. We used six hole hoops so we had plenty of room for the snares. I have no other multi sonic drums but think that they suffer from not enough strands. I cut down some nice wire snares to the width of the slot, used the Hinger snares as they were, and ended up replacing the guitar strings with three double strands of small diameter gut. The gut snares are still a work in progress. We mounted the three Indie strainers and butts on blocks of wood screwed to the shell. The case fits tight because of the wood blocks but it worked. A "normal" drum should not have any problem. Great case handle and nice foam lining. Thanks to Jim O'Connor and the nice folks at Steve Weiss for measuring the case.

This case does not fit Ludwig snares with "lobes" like the other reviewer claims. Nor is it beautiful, it's actually quite plain and unattractive. The quality is questionable too. Do yourself a favor and avoid the case, especially if you have one with "lobes".

Old Mickey just keeps buying Ludwig Super Sensitive's Snares so he can buy another H&B Enduro Pro case. Or is it the other way around keep checking back and remember Steve Weiss Music is the only place you can pick one of these up at. See you at NAMM guys!
