Humes & Berg Tuxedo Snare Drum Bag

I bought this for a new signature model snare that I wanted to have the best protection possible, so I upgraded from my usual choices, all of which are good, but the Tuxedo line brings it to the next level and is only a few dollars more than other brands or than Humes & Berg's own Galaxy line. The stated sizes are also more accurate for the Tuxedo bags, and due to their design and the thick and flexible padding, if a bag is too deep or too wide, the snare still holds snug in the bag and doesn't bounce around. Cats love to explore new bags, and mine caused this one to fall to the floor from ceiling height right after I put the snare in it. It was as though one had dropped a tissue on the floor; no sound and no impact.

I've been using Tuxedo bags since the late early 90s and still feel they're about the best bang for the buck drum bags made. My bags have seen over a thousand gigs and are still in great shape. Granted, I don't tour and I'm my own roadie so they don't get abused. That said, I've dropped the occasional drum and these bags protected my pro-level gear from harm. This was purchased to house a N&C solid snare so you know I trust them. Great bag with nice zippers and good padding. Hope this one lasts like the other dozen or so I own.

I swear by the Humes & Berg Tuxedo bags because I know I'm getting a superb quality bag with H&B. These never tear, the zippers last and the lining does not scratch my drums.

Humes and Burg are the best drum bags hands down and at a fair price. They have the thickest padding I have found to keep your drums safe. The construction is very tough. Very high quality zippers and straps. They really are the very best.

Tuxedo bags are high quality. I have one for each drum in a 5 piece set. Snare drum bag is fine quality for the price. It's well padded and a snug fit for a Tama 6.5x14 chrome snare.
