These mallets will allow you to play around the drums with ease, whether it's smooth and full rolls or just a rich, warm sound for moving excerpts. I have even played single-stroke rolls on the 20" timpano and it's still smooth with this mallets. Whether I need warmth or weight, this will give me that sound with the perfect amount of articulation.
