JGpercussion JP3 Joseph Pereira Timpani Mallets are a ball-stick design that is hand-sewn with the highest quality soft German felt. This model is designed with German felt over a large felt core.

All of the mallets in the Joseph Pereira Signature line are made from strong, hand-selected bamboo. Each pair is 15 inches long (38cm) with bamboo ranging between 11-13mm in diameter. Each mallet comes fitted with a European style handle grip.

These timpani mallets have a feel like no other. The Joseph Pereira mallets are my new mallet of choice. I can express myself on the instrument far better now than the brand I was using before. Expensive yes, but well worth the investment. The JP3 mallet is comparable to most other general mallets on the market. The JP4 is an oversized general for more weight and very big sound.
