JGpercussion JP8 Joseph Pereira Timpani Mallets are made with a European layered design that features layers of leather and Viennese flannel. This model is made of small hard flannel discs, stacked tightly for an articulate sound.

All of the mallets in the Joseph Pereira Signature line are made from strong, hand-selected bamboo. Each pair is 15 inches long (38cm) with bamboo ranging between 11-13mm in diameter. Each mallet comes fitted with a European style handle grip.

These mallets feel and sound amazing. Yes, a little expensive, but they are totally worth it. ALWAYS in the mallet bag going to a gig. Quick off the head with a nice dark clear sound. A very happy medium between the super articulate JP6s and the bigger more powerful JP10s.
