Highly recommended for everyone if anyone wants to play short and thick sound! Also, bamboo shafts are really awesome compared to DH8 and CL8.

I purchased these looking for a pair of mallets to use on the Perruchon 5 Danses Dogoriennes. With a cork core I was expecting these to be an articulate, but slightly warmer sound than a wood mallet. On plastic heads, they are quite bright. That said, while I won't be using them on the Perruchon I am using them on DiLorenzo's Luminosity. Looking forward, I believe these will be quite useful for Baroque pieces.
