So glad these finally came back in stock, as I had previously bought the Small pair due to having short arms! Be aware that most online descriptions are incorrect, but some have been improved lately. The terminology is very misleading! Both the small and the medium are of equivalent length. The size refers to the mallet head! As a result, you really need both pairs so you have the widest color range possible and the biggest dynamic range while doing cymbal rolls and strikes. The Medium pair is 1.75" diameter for the yarn head; the Small pair is 1.5". Not sure if this info has been added to the description yet.
