The Pearl Champion Medalist Pipe Band Snare Drum is light weight (13.8 lbs) with a brilliant tonal quality. The 4-ply birch shell features a 2-ply reinforcement rings. This shell material combination delivers the bright optimal tone. Top and bottom snares plus 45 degree bearing edges also contribute to the bright cutting tone. The top snare adjustment system gives exterior access for easy adjusting and tuning.
