These mallets served me well in college, but I never found them any more than adequate.
Description
The Promark Jonathan Haas JH4 General Purpose Timpani Mallets are the general purpose mallet of the series. They have the weight to play loud, the softness to play soft, and the balance needed to control speed and accuracy of the mallets.

Love these so much! The handles feel light in the hand but you can get a lot of power out of these.

Nicely balanced, Easy to control volume and quality of sound. Very happy with them.

I usually get general purpose mallets from Vic Firth, but when I found these, there was a noticeable difference. I recommend these to all excelling percussionists
