Salyers 12" Double Sided Practice Pad - Product Information

The Salyers Percussion 12" double sided, silicone pad features playing surfaces that replicate the feel of both a contemporary marching snare drum as well as concert snare/marching tenor drums. The green side is the same great, 3/16" silicone found on the classic single sided pad and it feels like a concert drum or marching tenor drum. The second side is a thinner, 1/8", white silicone that sounds more articulate and feels like a higher tension marching snare.

A great practice pad for a very reasonable price. Both sides of the pad accomplish their intended purpose very well and the material holds up very well unlike the Evans real or Remo pads that give out after a while. The 'chop out' side is much quieter than other chop out pads I've used so that's a massive positive for this pad. It is a little heavier, but I think the durability more than makes up for that.
