Stephens-Tomfoolery (SP)-Tom toms - Product Information
As the title suggests, Tomfoolery by Wes Stephens is a piece that only uses three toms: high, medium, and low. The form is ABA and uses hocket rhythms between the players for the main thematic material in the A sections. The B section features each player in a brief solo, then together in a rudimental unison passage.
This piece also involves various extended techniques such as stick clicks, playing on the rims of the drums, and playing on other performer's drums. A great selection for beginning-intermediate percussion ensembles, Tomfoolery keeps performers engaged and audiences entertained!
This piece comes as a professionally printed and bound score and includes individual parts in PDF format for printing or for tablet viewing.
