Tama Superstar Classic 7-Piece Shell Pack - 22" Bass Drum

More than 40 years ago Tama introduced its Superstar drum set line. It stood for superior quality, revolutionary design, remarkable tone and clear projection. With this current release of Drum Sets to bare the name Superstar all the points of quality are upheld while keeping the price affordable. Tama employed simpler design ideas reminiscent of the 70's Superstar Kit while still using some of its modern manufacturing techniques.

Tama uses 100% Maple shells on the Superstar line. Low mass single lugs are used on the shells and Tama's unique Bass drum claws on the kick drum. The claw hooks stabilize the wood hoops on bass drum and feature built-in rubber lining which helps protect the wood and maintain tuning even during long performances. The Starmount system on the toms is designed to maximize the resonance of the drums with minimal contact.
